Designed for learners aged 11–12, this programme helps students move beyond basic conversations and develop the confidence to communicate effectively in Bahasa Melayu. Through interactive discussions, project-based learning, role-plays, and real-world tasks, students will strengthen their speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills while expanding their vocabulary and cultural understanding.


The course encourages learners to think critically, express opinions, and communicate clearly in everyday and academic contexts, preparing them for secondary school and life in Malaysia.

By the end of the programme, students will be able to:

  • Use over 400 practical Malay words and expressions confidently.

  • Participate in conversations on a variety of familiar and academic topics.

  • Read and understand short articles, stories, and informational texts.

  • Write structured paragraphs and short compositions with greater accuracy.

  • Express opinions, justify ideas, and ask follow-up questions in discussions.

  • Deliver short presentations using clear and appropriate language.

  • Develop greater confidence using Malay in school and everyday situations.
